As night falls at your Relay For Life event, teams gather together to light the candles and pay tribute to loved ones. It gives everyone a special opportunity to remember those who have been lost to cancer and to celebrate the lives of those who have survived the disease, and is the only time that Relay stands still.
How do I dedicate a Candle of Hope?
If you register as a team member, you will receive five candle bags in your sign up pack. You can decorate these yourself and return them to your team captain or a committee member.
We ask people to make a donation to Cancer Research UK when they dedicate a Candle of Hope so we can fund more work into beating cancer.
