The seventh team to register were Rosebuds, the team returning for their sixth Relay For Life Stockport.
Survivorship chair Joyce posted this on Facebook yesterday, and it definitely should be repeated here as the team are Relaying in memory of their team captain Rose, who very sadly lost her battle with cancer this year.
"It seems such a short time since this photo was taken of our wonderful Rosebuds captain Rose - tomorrow we will all be thinking of her and raising a glass to a truly special lady. We promised there will always be a Rosebuds team in Stockport Relay for Life and this weekend we are registering team 'Rosebud' as our tribute to this amazing lady."
