So far we've raised more than £6000 this year, and with three months still to go until Relay For Life Stockport itself, we're confident that we'll reach this years goal of raising £60,000. There are a number of fundraising events coming up, I'm pleased to say that we've had enough volunteers to fill the weekend at our Tesco collection in Stockport next week, but we now need people to help out the following week - Saturday 25th April - when we have a collection before Stockport County's last home match of the season at Edgeley Park. If you can spare a couple of hours, between 1pm and 3pm, to hold a bucket and collect some cash for your team then please reply by email or facebook.
Our team night last month was unfortunately postponed at the last minute, and moved to next Monday - 20th April. We're looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible there. It starts at 8pm, at Cheadle Sports Club (our new relay venue!), just off the A34 in Cheadle. There are more details on the meeting on the facebook page -
