Our final Committee 'Reason to Relay' comes from... me! I'm Daniel, and I am your Team Chair for Relay For Life Stockport. As Team Chair, I am responsible for team recruitment and engagement - so you will be hearing a lot from me over the next year! Also, I post most of the content on this Facebook page, and will deal with any comments/criticisms/suggestions you may have.
I am incredibly passionate about Relay for Life, having lost my auntie to pancreatic cancer earlier this year. My family took part in Relay this year with me - it was truly special to have them all around me at such an emotional, but worthwhile and inspiring, time.
Everyone has something that they can offer to Relay for Life, so please take the time to learn more about what Relay is, and how it helps the global fight against cancer. All of the money raised by Relay for Life Stockport this year will be going to the Manchester Cancer Research Centre - your fundraising will be having a local influence!
